FRIDAY, JUNE 3, 2011
Happy Friday, Philly Shoppers!
It's on. Summer, that is. Forget the solstice. It's hot. It's mostly sunny. And, from your jaunt there last weekend, you have confirmed that the beach awaits. (If you're not bikini-ready, well, just do your best.) But, it's not really summer, and you're probably spending the weekend on the mainland, what with all the indoor-outdoor events happening here, including Ardmore's last Clover Market of the season, a jewelry shop opening in Northern Liberties on First Friday, a glorious Bucks County garden tour, a citywide show of butterflies, and a summer's worth of bargains at Rescue Rittenhouse. Also in the news: This is my last week at Philadelphia magazine, and you're going to loooove the new (and improved) lifestyle editor,
Emily Goulet, who would, in turn, love it if you hit her up with the shopping news, yo!    — Lauren McCutcheon, Lifestyle Editor
